Becoming a Member
OUR CLUB
If your family likes to ski and/or snowboard and appreciates cooperative, community living, the Lexington Ski Club might be for you. Currently, we are accepting applications for new members.
Club membership is currently limited to 55 families to ensure that all members are able to get accommodations at the lodge whenever they want. Member’s guests can usually be accommodated at the lodge as well, even during the busy ski season, for a low nightly rate.
The Club is made up of younger and older families, with many families having young children and teenagers. We also have several member families that have been members for many years, and are now are retired and who often ski during the week. The club's lodge is very active and is often used 7 days a week during the ski season.
Each member family adult contributes one work weekend at the Lodge to do repairs, upgrades, general maintenance and housekeeping. Six or seven work weekends are scheduled, about monthly, from spring to fall each year. Its a fun time to get to know your fellow club members and often to learn some new skills.
Membership provides a substantial value to our members, who pay no lodging fees. Annual dues, shown below, are about the equivalent to, or less than, the cost of a single ski vacation week at a condo for a family of four.
WHY JOIN THE LEXINGTON SKI CLUB?

You'd be hard pressed to find a more affordable way for a family to experience skiing, hiking, biking and other outdoor activities in New Hampshire.Membership is very affordable. Families pay a one-time initiation fee upon joining, and an annual membership fee each June. This includes full use of the lodge year-round for members of your family. Typically, the only additional costs a family incurs are for meals, which are per person during the ski season, and priced very affordably. Breakfast and dinner meals are prepared by a professional on-site cook and are served family style on Saturday and Sunday mornings during most ski weekends, and during school vacation weeks. While there are additional fees for certain other situations (late cancellations, work-weekend buy-outs, guest fees, etc.), most families can avoid these costs if they choose. The club is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization, and all revenue from members directly supports the club itself.

Meet Lexington area families.Our Club members are families primarily from Lexington and adjoining cities and towns. We have children and adults of all ages. Our membership spans from young families, who come on weekends and during school breaks to retiree families, who often use the club during the mid-week. We are currently accepting member families who reside in Arlington, Bedford, Belmont, Burlington, Concord, Lexington, Lincoln, Waltham, Winchester, or Woburn, Massachusetts.

Conveniently located two hours from BostonWe're about a half mile off I-93 Exit 32 (mile marker 100), and just minutes from four major ski resorts, some of New Hampshire's best cross country trails, and hundreds of hiking and mountain biking trails.

Access to our lodge, and a place to stay, 365 days of the year.Your family's annual membership includes full access to the lodge year-round, both during ski season and off-season. The Lincoln/Woodstock, NH area is as fun and lively in the summer and fall as it is during ski season, and there is lots to do, no matter when you visit.

Invite your guests.Your family membership allows you to invite guests for overnight stays at the lodge for a nominal fee.

Enjoy a hot breakfast and dinner cooked for you.During the ski season, whenever there are 20 or more members staying at the lodge, we bring in a cook prepare a hot breakfast and dinner on weekends and all week long during school vacation weeks. There is a nominal fee for meals which is well worth taking the hassle out of figuring out what’s for dinner or the expense of eating out. When you stay the rest of the year, you can use our commercial kitchen to prepare your own meals, or grill outside on one of our gas grills.
The Journey from Prospective Member to Full Member
To join the Lexington Ski Club, prospective members and their families must visit the Club twice during peak season weekends, attend a monthly business meeting between November and May, meet with the Membership Committee and the E-board, and have their membership intention announced in the Club's newsletter, The Yodeler. This process, which must be completed within two years, ensures prospective members fully understand Club operations and become acquainted with current members.
Leveraging Your Sponsors
Once you decide to become a member, you'll be assigned two Sponsor families to guide you, answer questions, reserve rooms, introduce you to members, and help secure discount tickets. Contact your Sponsors early to align schedules and avoid delays. Reservations for weekend stays are due by Monday. As a prospective family, you will pay a guest fee of $30 per adult per night, plus any meal fees, directly to your sponsors.
